the one in Carson is a freak show. containers come in from Long Beach, and they unload the container and put it right in a Conway trailer...not sure why you need a warehouse for that, but that's the way they do it

Welp looks like we'll be spending a few days in the shop have a majoe coolant leak, last week had to add 1 gal and then yesterday coming up out of LA on I-15 had to pull over and add 2 gals, today after leaving Loves in Lake Havasu got as far as the TA in Kingman and it's almost empty, called in and they said our truck was throwing cooltant codes last night, and we've put over 100,000 miles on it so it's due for an overhead and few of things.

Cargo, what happened to that nice lady upfront? Conway probably got rid of her because she was making too much money as a receptionist. You never know what Corporate America will do. To be honest, it could easily be mistaken as dictatorship. Flexing their corporate muscle, and not realizing that's first point of contact in the company. Gotta be honest with you all. I look for another buyout soon, because they're very rarely hauling LTL freight. It's been contracted out to other companies, and I heard through the grapevine from a very valuable source that Conway Freight owes Conway Truckload in the sum amount of 10 million, which there may be interest involve by now. Since Conway Truckload likes the Canadian freight. I see another merger happening, and it will be a big one that far exceeds any merger thus far. They only use Conway Freight as a drop yard now. Think about it really good, and think outside the box. There are other companies out there that can afford to buyout Conway Truckload from Conway, Inc. This time they will change the name once again, and that name change will be a permanent one. CFI changed their name to Conway Truckload. It's not a permanent buyout. It was only to buy them out to get CFI away from the brink of bankruptcy.

Gonna need to educate us low gear.

I get stuck behind those wiggly Kleenex box font ######## all the time.
    Nonstop they go.

Deal is setup to meet in Mason Ohio driving it over from Logan as part of pre negotiation. Going with purchase order in hand with certified cheque. Should take all but 5 minutes. Just how we like it :D

I've talked to the salutations lady but you have to go thru the buttons for all other calls I think it was. Idk I was on extended vacay waiting for Conway to come get their stupid truck out my driveway xD. They didn't even ask for over a month and a half!!?!!

Just ran out of days off last month...guess I'm not coming back eh Mr FM? Lol.

I wonder who has the most days off banked up. I know I'm not the only one to employ said day saving successful strategic hometime bribe ploys.

Kept my promise of not supporting fuelopps by not logging in once. (Wasn't in the book on the terminal desk as well)

God that was fun calling them names and showing "company pride" while at the same time pissing the hell off the higher ups. FM didn't like the emails sent from the higher ups AT ALL lol....
So fun. So fun. I'm grinning huge.

    :D !!!!!!

Seen a driver today commit the most unprofessional thing a professional driver can do, and that is turn around in the middle of a busy 4 lane highway, just so he can get to the truckstop. Talk about the driver having the lack of experience here.:biggrin_2551:
