anyone ever had a oil sending sensor go out? my oil pressure doing nutty things. motor runs great, no ticking or anything. when I use the little port where I can pull oil sample off the bypass filter seems to have enormous pressure. cant get a new sensor til the am. here I sit in grand bay,alabama. not going to risk major damage. its a cat c-15, my sensor has oil leaking from it, may the source of the trouble. gonna hook on a manual gauge also soon as I can get somewhere, for piece of mind, that wont do the ecm anygood though

 

i had a 2000 c15 the oil pressure would spike upto 80 pounds and stay there . it turned out to be the oilpump.

 

Ya this happened to me a couple years ago. The hardest part is reaching the #### sensor.

 

Your either gonna have to go into a store or just call customer service and ask them about different things that'll be best for you.

mine is right on the driver side just behind the dipstick, right next to the barometric pressure sensor, what were the symptoms when yours went out, erratic goofy readings ? pressure lowering while driving? then go back up suddenly, shut it off and start back up and everything seemed normal, mine also is dripping/ leaking oil from the sensor

 

you can get a mercer discount of 19 per cent by taking a settlement sheet to Verizon to prove employment

 

I'll have to find out how much I'm getting now because I believe I'm getting 20% discount from my previous employer but thanks
