I'm new to trucking/logistics, and Im buying a used reefer, I had an email from a dealer that has trailers to look at but he says they all have patches to the kemlite and exterior walls. Is this as serious as it sounds? Would it be worth traveling 3 hours to look at them? The trailers are 2005 and 2006 so some wear and tear is expected, but Im trying to find out how serious this is. Thanks in advance!

Nonsense: the trailers were repaired...check them out...turn a unit on and see how the temp draws down...

Any trailer that old is likely to have repairs to the interior due to the superior forklift driving skills seen all around the country. If it's a quality repair I wouldn't dismiss the trailer for that. Make sure the doors seal good and as stated previously run the unit and see how it pulls down. All reefers insulation will degrade over time, just the nature of the beast.
