another early day home from work. Got some supplies and started cleaning up those tool boxes I bought a few days ago. I polished up the aluminum and lined the inside of them with disposable absorbent matting that is used on the floor of garages, I taped it inside the box. Figured that when it gets too dirty I can pull it out and put fresh lining in, was only a few dollars for a roll and was enough there to get two boxes lined with the one roll.
Also cleaned up and painted the headache rack. I primed it and then painted it with black Rocker Guard rubberized paint, that should give it a durable coating plus it looks pretty good as well. Got two of the tool boxes done , got one more to do. The tool box left to do is a big one, I looked it up by its measurements and brand online and its an expensive box to buy new, I got a good deal on those for $100 per tool box.

@kw9's rock those weather guard boxes are nice. They hold up well. I've had mine on my '96 since it was new, and that is it's second truck. Bought it right after I bought my '93 in the fall of '92.
Welcome rayray! Just jump right in and join us. We're all a little nuts on here. And don't let none of these here "perfechional driverz" tell ya any different!
Truckers are good at messing things up. But to do a MAJOR screw up, takes the military!

I am sorry Mr. BD... but that DEFINITELY doesn't apply to ME...
BTW, never did...
I couldn't care less how much money a man has to offer me... If I like him, I like HIM with or without his money... and if I don't like him, I don't like him regardless of how much money he has to offer me...
I want to believe there are many other females like myself out there...
BTW, when I say that, I'm referring to the male as "a whole package", including his looks and his weight and everything else... That's MHOLast edited: Jul 27, 2015

So... I parked near receiver's gate last evening... in Edison, NJ... Thought I would be the only truck there...
But there were already several on the street...
After unloaded, backed to a corner inside receiver's parking lot where I still sit now with no load...
My company has been having difficulty to find good loads lately... Mega carriers hauling for less I think...
It's now 13:30 and I am considering to go to a service plaza about 22 miles south of here so I can use a real bathroom and buy a bag of ice for my cooler... But still waiting some more... Don't think will spend another night parked on the street here...

Changes, changes, changes... part of life... wish all the best Mr. Tall...
