I think Pete is going to build a complete toolbox into a headache rack soon. Maybe change his name to FixItPete or InTheShopPete. Sorry bud I tease. I do hope you get the bugs worked out of that truck soon. It seems to be costing you $$$

Yup I told the loader that but he swore each pipe was .... Lbs so I said to have it a lil bit further back to be safe he said everybody got it this way. I'm not good at going back and forth with grown men so I said eff it and sure enough got a hour down the road to scale and I'm 540 over on the drives

that sucks not to be a smart ### but you know you can get on board weight gauges for like $200.00 I was looking into Right Weigh...I think... they are very in expensive unless you start talking electronics and more sophisticated systems

Yes lol! Kinda makes me wish I got a new truck. Seems like all my money is going to repairs but guess it comes with a 8 year old truck.

No biggie. This was the first time I ever scaled a load pulling a flat. I could usually go off my suspension gauge

yeah, cjanda, I figure my time not just fuel a tiny bit of wear and tear, I shoot for overall speedometer as close to 2.00 a mile. I did something today I don't ever recall doing, after seeing a couple guys comment on asking what their ranking was. I was actually very surprised, I was at 31 for the fleet and that was with taking 3 weeks off when my dad died, and 3 weeks off when my youngest graduated in may, that 6 weeks or a month a half off in just two pops. if I had missed the funeral and mailed a graduation gift I coulda been number 1. and imagine there was a poster on here a few weeks ago telling me I didn't have a clue what I was talking about on this thread.

Some of have been been getting one lousy load after another.
Shipper did damage to my trailer the other day, then today loaded a 41k load and turned out to be well over 45k lbs after loading and reloaded all day with customer thinking my weigh Guages are wrong. Finally had to take it off and only got $150 for my time and deadhead.
Things are getting tough enough to sell this truck and retire
