Where is a good place online to look for experienced drivers? I have another new truck on order and I need to hire a new driver to haul reefer trailer.

Wrong order........find the driver then the truck.

Really? So you would hire a driver and then pay him to do what? Sit around for 3-4 months waiting for the new truck to come in? Or will he just wait till the truck comes in and be a fill in guy till his ride comes in? Yeah trucks and trailers take 3-4 months to get in and I can drive it till I find the right guy if needed so the order works fine. Looking for somebody that wants to work, not once guy on my crew would wait around and I am not looking for somebody that would.Dominick253, Ssand Man and xlsdraw Thank this.

Why look on line? Don't you and your crew cross paths with drivers?
-
Yes but not reefer guys, this is new to us as we do dump trailer and bulk fuel hauling. One of my guys did do reefer work 10+ years ago but he wants to be home every night and with this contract we have he will not be able to do that.
xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Most small outfits advertise on Craigs List if they're looking to hire out of one particular area.

Are you running the northeast area?
-
90% of it is the Northeast
