So I've been working for Prime on there lease program and got an offer from Schnieder for a team position in which I'm flown out to different locations throughout the US for 3 weeks of team driving and then I come home for 5 days. According to the recruiter Schnieder picks up the airfare and taxi rides both ways. There willing to start me at .45 cents a mile and says ill average between 5000-6000 miles a week. My question is, is anyone out there doing this position right now and if so can you give me some information about it, like actual miles, home times, flights, things like that?

Imo, you can do a LOT better than 45 cpm for team.

That sounds like it would suck for 45 cpm, no inverter, etc.

Check out US Xpress. Good team company.

The miserable part would be getting on the airplane lol. They arent sending you first class and you'll be sitting in a middle seat. The flight will mess up your team sleep schedule

Do they fly u out to recover a truck then you eventually take it back to a terminal?

The say I understand it is they fly you to where the help is needed for three weeks then you drop the truck off ata terminal and fly home.

I'm unsure why they would fly you instead of route your truck (or anyone else) to the area where the help is needed. Guess thats why I dont sit behind a desk all day crunching numbers

Teams usually split the mileage pay.
Most people do teaming so they can get home weekly. I would never team and be out 3 weeks you can do that solo.
And beware teaming with unknown partners of unknown driving habits. I had a codriver wreck a truck with me in the sleeper, he rolled it.
