I saw a job posting for a Regional job that had 7-on-7-off (or 14/7). How unusual is this? If this is real, how hard is this type of job to get? It says 3 months experience required.
I do understand that one would not make much money with this schedule.

They are out there and available. It means you're constantly moving your stuff in and out of trucks between each tour. The truck keeps moving, they just swap out drivers who all want the same thing out of the job (lot's of time off, but a to get them away from the old lady for a week or two) Lot's of retired people like this sort of setup.
You could only hope all were non-smokers if you did not smoke, and it's only a matter of time before that changes. Also, you can only hope none of your crew-mates is a pig with bad body odor that lingers. You may maintain the same personnel for a time, but sooner or later someone is going to drop out and they will be replaced with a less-then-desirable person to have to follow.
BTW, these are sometimes teaming operations, sometimes solo. -
I think Roehl has a schedule like this or they did anyway.

I saw one on Craigslist hauling mail for $20 an hour. Good pay for the week you work but starve on your week off unless you have a side business or something.
T_Bone Thanks this. -
