I'll be passing through OKC about 5-6 AM. I doubt any rational person would be up that early on a Sunday.

At the yard again. Loaded a short one for Columbus, ohio today. reload for Florida. Probably be home two months. Will just run short stuff to generate modest revenue till the baby comes. Then stay home till I'm ready to roll.

There is an icbm moving truck/trailer/thing parked on the yard. That is one cool looking set up. just really hope the nuke isn't inside.

Edit to add: guys should really put off any new truck purchases till next year. This is looking to be one very skinny winter. Probably add bad as 09. I really hope I'm wrong, but I'm expecting a very very bad winter for trucking.

I wish you had said that yesterday morning. I took delivery on a new 2016 780 yesterday afternoon. I figure if you gonna go under go under big!!!! Lol. No really my old 780 had gotten where it was costing me on average 2500 to 3 grand a month to keep her going and had been that way since febuary and there was no end in sight to it so I took the plunge. I will say this volvo has made some real improvements since they made my old one 10 years ago. And that I shift transmission is crazy cool. I may grow to hate it later but I was amazed by it on the ride home. I'm really hoping for and expecting some fuel mileage improvements also. I do agree this winter is probably gonna be rough. Last winter wasn't really a picnic either. At least not from febuary on. And the spring upswing started later this year than last year. I'm expecting a rough one but I'm hoping the increased uptime will help out on that some.

I hear you man. That's why I used my worst months #s. Also I have the advantage of my military pension and a few emergency funds. Besides, if it's only as bad as 09 I'll be peachy ;). I got this truck new in 09. But you are 100% correct as a general rule.
