Are all CDL written Permit tests the same?
Do you like the tests here?
What should I look for, when searching for a CDL booklet? Or should I just get one at my dmv?

The CDL Manual from the DMV has all the information on the DMV test, and it's FREE. And my states DMV have a PDF version on their website, if you want to study on your computer or tablet. Also FREE.

When I take my permit test, will there be other tests for the permit? Will there be hazmat test or air brake test?
-
To get a class A permit, you'll have to do the general, the combination and the air brake tests.
Get tankers, dbl/trpl while you're there, then hazmat later on if you want itLocke and Voodoo Pyg Thank this. -
For the full CDL test it is as follows: Special requirements, pre-trip, combination vehicles, air brakes, and general knowledge. Endorsements such as hazmat, doubles/triples etc are up to you.Locke Thanks this.

In Mississippi, the CDL manual is $2.

Get a manual at the DMV.The tests on line are similar to the test at the DMV but they will ask questions that yo didn't see on the online test.
