My understanding of a pyrometer is. The sender is a milivolt generator, the sender produces electricity to power the meter from heat. 12 volt power only powers the light. This is for old style isspro analog pyrometer.

I have no idea about a digital pyrometer gauge. This digital age confuses me.

Hey everybody! I have read what seems like this whole post and there is a ton of info. However, I can't find anything on how Mercer is for teams in the van division. I've talked to a few drivers both solo and team and hear numbers like $22,000 a month gross, $4,000 a week net. How does this compare to flatbed? I read about a Mercer flatbed driver saying 10k net a week! Crazy!
I know it all depends on the individual or team or division, etc....is flatbed greater than all? Flatbed = team van? Team greater than solo? Just want to hear some thoughts.

    Any info is greatly appreciated.

That driver is on a dedicated secret squirrel load apparently. 22/month gross is very doable, 4/week net depends completely on your expenses, but possible, but 10/week net, I want those loads, maybe it's worth the passport if that's a weekly avg

Kool. Thanks all. I'm trying to find out what is realistic and what is story time on the Internet.

Saw a Mercer truck with a SD here in Missouri. More friendly than the company I work for....

I see quite a few team van loads out of the north west and we do have alot of folks running around claiming to be a team but I believe it's more like one couple told me last week. They said they were more super solo. That 10 grand a week net thing seems more fairy tale than truth. I may happen a few times a year but I don't see it as a rule.
