I cant believe that a Small SUV is able to take out tandems
the images are from TV screens captures all I remember is that the driver was drunk. It was a couple of days ago.

Tandems are held on by 4 1/2" pins and a small channel of sheet iron.
Remember to include it in your pretrip, I've found more than a few trailers that were barely attached to the tandems.Vilhiem, NavigatorWife and Criminey Jade Thank this. -
One guy at my last company had a habit of flying around parking lots and dock areas, then sliding his tandems back by releasing the pins, and running the trailer forward at speed, locking the trailer brakes, and letting the tandems SLAM against the rears stops so hard the noise of it had people diving for cover. Pretty much explained why I wound up finding damage on trailers whenever I had to do drop n hook with that company
