I use the Transflo app and it works great. Especially since I dont live near a truck stop and can just send it in from home when I deliver my load before home time.

Had a good conversation with Mike the other day, first they hired a new dispatcher for the North East,so Bob can go back to whatever Bob does best. Second the communication issue was brought up,Mike says it's a work in progress, we are dealing with a whole new staff of dispatchers, let everyone settle in,and that problem should be resolved in short time. 3rd GPT is breaking away from brokers loads as fast as they can, bringing on new customers daily, also to get us away from the, mosquito brokers, we are filling in the gaps with Holland freight, I'm picking up tomorrow in Fullerton California to Nazareth PA Holland load. I really do feel that Great Plains does care about us drivers. I told him that the natives were getting restless and that things needed to change ASAP, he told me he is on it, and I believe it. GPT IS ONE OF THE BEST COMPANIES OUT THERE, I still believe. My miles are still up there, I can't complain. Mike and I are going to have A weekly update meeting on the phone or at the office on our issues that we have, and if they are getting resolved, to our satisfaction. If we have "any" problems with the staff we are to call him directly, and he will deal with it. What I would do is call Dan on that missing trip and ask him for money for that trip, he will do it. There not tight at all, there very accommodating, they will get that missing trip figured out, last but not least more new trucks and trailers, are in. Once we break away from the brokers there should be another boost in pay, happy drivers = low turnover= profit. They do care about us! I'm in truck 6003 not 6001 if you see me out there give a shout and will grab a bite to eat or a cup of joe.

No way, I don't want to bump docks every day almost, and drive up and down I95 and relegate myself playing in the eastern half of the United States, just to jump back to Fargo and go straight back to the east. Your longest runs are our shortest runs. I'm sure Magnum is a good company, SISYPUS

I was in the yard today for a few hours, but it was almost beer 30. I did talk to Bob a little. Did not mention another dispatcher.
But we talked about the layover policy. And those mosquito brokers. He said they should be calling them since they can see us within 3 feet on the map and they could give updates to them. I turn off the phone at bed time now.

Got the apu serviced, chassis lubed, got some winter gear out of the car and threw some stuff in the car, and drilled a hole in the chain box, and a trailer brake replaced. Had about 8" water in the chainbox. Glad I pulled everything out and checked the chains cause that would have been bad if that froze. Saw my first snow the other night out in Yellowstone. Only sticking to the mountain peaks.

Oh well, can't see the tips with the clouds rolling through. I sleep real good up there. Outside Big Sky.

Snow??? Noooooooooo!! J/k, heading into my delivery up here but not sure how if I will get enough time to get this APU fixed. Want to get in and pick that next one up and get heading east since it's going to be a bit tight, and get home so I can get the check up done at my doctor's office. I'm hoping Bob updated the new east coast guy on U.S. drivers who live in the north east, I've had to explain where I live several times. I just didn't see why they don't post an announcement on the Qualcomm as to who all these new dispatchers are, just makes it a lot easier I got the sheet with the dispatch map on it, but I had almost no idea who did what or where until I stopped in on a weekend and grabbed some supplies.

Hehe... He's bent on recruiting people, I noticed the sign on bonus and the 1500$ recruiting bonus there, they must go through a lot of people over there at magnum

which generally with a turnover that large signifies a problem because great drivers don't leave great companies so therefore they must be doing something wrong to be losing drivers the way they are they have to recruit like that

Lol. They just sent this over the qualcomm. I know Mike checks here occasionally. I'm going to send a message to see how long it takes to get a response.
Guess we just put the person's name at the beginning of the message to whomever we wish to read it?
I have been preplanned on this load and the next. And will see if it happens for Monday also. Going to send a message and see what they send back as a reply.

I got one earlier showing some changes being made to dispatch, and some good news about my lost(well, sort of lost) paperwork, and was able to get some things taken care of. Got the APU fixed this morning after I got empty, it was the temperature sensor and a bad wire, less than an hour and I was on my way.

Considering whether to sell the trike or not, possibly so I can get ahead on some of my bills, and get one less debt out of the way so I can save up easier and get started on this immigration crap so when I get my next chance at vacation time I can go back over the ocean and start the process to bring my partner over here. I can always go for a new machine when things get shored up better.(if she lets me lol)

Okay the last three days have improved on my end. I'm now preplanned on another load once I drop off in NC. I'm impressed again. That will make 3 in a row I've been preplanned. I like! Can actually plan my hours again.

I did just throw a curve ball. I need to get through the house to sign some legal papers asap. Will see how that works out. Just need to pass thru sign papers and keep rolling.

You got a girl over seas? Only place I've been overseas is Germany, by choice. Well, and iraq, kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Not by choice.

I sure could use a good hot meal. Preferably a steak(ribeye) or real good BBQ.(brisket)
