My husband is currently hauling crude oil out around Casper. He loves it out there. :) We almost moved there, but I wanted to be warmer, so we moved to Texas instead. :)

It is nice over there. But I try and avoid that area when it comes to loads. I'll pass there when heading here (Washington) but when I leave here in a week or two I won't be back till next summer. I'm a snowbird and it's about time to head to Phoenix for the winter.

I ordered the 82" sleeper, wood cabnits, 505HP DD15 (thought about the 600HP DD16 but lm scared of a first year motor). Disc breaks and the Thermo King package for the APU. Oh and even after driving the automatic I went with a 13 speed. Have to admit the automatic seemed to do a great job I'm just not sold on them yet.

Like the looks of those 82" bunks without the extra fairings on them. Will be anxious to hear how it treats you, I do like the looks of them.

As for the auto shifts, if you ever do get one you'll wonder why you waited so long to make the jump, but I understand your hesitation. I had a Mack with the M Drive when I ordered my KW and almost didn't go with Eaton's ultrashift, now I'm glad I did.

When will the new ride be in?
