Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

I like that TA in Jersey too, a great Italian pub and a Duncan Donut nearby,
They had me fill up at the Petro in West Memphis too
This new fuel system is sorta weird.
And I had to run the side roads to get south on I 95 in SC.
95 was deserted, nobody going north and me and about 5 cars headed south , and the were way far off.

 

F that TA. One of the ones I don't like. The bathroom in the main building sucks, 3 stalls that won't lock because of misalignment of the door vs the frame. And the restaurant closes at midnight. After having a bad day the day I got there, drove late, went to the bathroom, found the issue with the 3 stalls so I went to the fuel building to go, then went to the restaurant to find it closed.

Walked over to Dunkin... dining room closed.

Walked across to McDonald's... closed.

Proceeded to lose it in the parking lot walking back to my truck.. some people looked at me kinda funny. I never do that... but it was just one of those days. Of course, I had to drive through DC and any day I have to drive through DC is a bad day.

 

Heard Joke on Local radio today..... An elderly man was sitting on a park-bench looking Frustrated and Impatient, a young guy see's this and walks up and sits down beside him and Asks the Old Timer... Is there something wrong ? The elderly man replies.. Last month I married a 25 year old Victoria Secrets Model and all she wants to do is have Wild and Kinky Sex EVERY DAY....The young guy with jealousy in his voice responds, I Don't See The Problem ? The elderly man replies ............. I FORGOT WHERE I LIVE !

 

And absolutely zero point zero effort in finding me a load for my hometime.
Except for the load I could have swung by home with for 1 day.
Just turned down a load going to Jersey, I'm in Augusta, arrgghh

Edit, 2 hours later.,, ARRRGGHHHH!!!

And at 8:40, finally 2 short loads to get me home on time.
I need a drink later, I hope I plan my night good

 

Meanwhile in Batavia, NY... for the first time in A WHILE, I'm not going to have to deadhead 160 miles home from the Chicago area. That'll be nice.

 

I am in Baldwinsville NY,2 days no freight or no desire to d/h,the next load pick up tomorrow from Baldwinsville.Baldwinsville is not bad at all, there is a walmart mcdonalds and a movie theather in a walking distance from the customer,and overnight parking everywhere.

 

But you still need to run more miles?

 

I would be bugging the crap out of Donna...I'd ask her who is going to have ta' have a face-to-face because of your low miles this time, when they do this "no freight" stuff to you.
