I worked for PTL for six months, then was offered a non-trucking job overseas for 11 months. Seemed like a one time chance so I took it and had a blast. Besides I had a few problems with the. I am now coming back to trucking and PTL agrees to rehire me. But But Crete also agrees to hire me. Do you guys think I should go back and finish my year before changing companies? Does it matter at all? Thanks for your input.

As you can see, it doesn't matter much to Crete.

Pick whichever one you are more comfortable with.

It's not important. Some drivers will tell you it is. Those are the same drivers that fear DAC. If you can move on to a better company then go for it!

Maybe just me but working another 6 months with PTL doesn't make it a year. A year to me is a year without a break. Technically you're not an experience driver, according to some company, or insurance policy***** some consider u an experience driver 6 months of more or a year.

    So pick your poison

todays trucking companies focus more on your mvr then how long you stayed with a company。ptl and crete are both starter companies。op youll probably have to go thru training again。

It doesn't matter at all as long as you keep a good record and are not a job hopper. At some point people will frown on the guy who won't keep a job.

You won't be be able to complete the year since you left at since months it's like starting all over again, and go with Crete since that job made you leave PTL that easy, start fresh.
