worst one i've ever been to was in Elizabeth NJ i'm not even sure if you'd call it a real truck stop well it had a weighbridge and a shower that's got to count right? what ever you do never use the showers there you'll pick up some nasty foot infection.

That place was a ****hole back when I was running OTR (back before the flood).
Also on my list of place to avoid:
T/A in the south part of Atlanta
Pilot in Gary, IN.
Pilot near downtown Denver.LilRedRidingHood Thanks this. -
No lizards in Pearsall, all you have to worry about there are the carterls moving dope and illegals. And since Petro bought the old Valero T/S on the SW corner of I-35 and TX 85, they turned the Porterhouse restaurant into an Iron Skillet.

I remember a truckstop in Fort Wayne, but I don't remember the name of it. The food was awful.

To keep any of that from happening, but still your imagination is running wild with takes of years ago

You been off the road awhile, that ta in Atlanta hasn't existed for many yearsLongarm Thanks this.

The last time I did any OTR was in summer of 2003.

Truck stop in George Wa.. ****hole!!! I was going to buy a cup of coffee but the ratio of flys, both alive and dead, on the Deli counter was too much for me to handle.. the door leading to the truck parking was even disgusting.

Rube's up there in Jersey City was probably the worst, closely followed by the one on the nw side of Miami, the one by the old produce market in Philly, the old Calumet 76 by Chicago, and the 76 off 198th in Oakland.
