Ok, I've got a 2 stop with the first being in Chicago at Berkshire Warehouse and ending at WalMart DC in Auburn Indiana. Is there ANY special considerations for this run (especially the Chicago part)???

I honestly forgot what a hassle it is now to get the Hazmat endorsement on your license. Almost 2 hours from the time I walked in the door to the time I was leaving...but it's done..assuming I pass the background check, that is.
ncmickey Thanks this. -
Got my first stop off early this morning in Norman, OK. Drove down to Tyler Tx. Shut it down at the Pilot in Tyler, Tx. Still about 20 miles from my 1st stop tomorrow... But no real truck stops closer.....so I'll get up early...I'm ready to kick off these last pallets at these 2 drops in East Texas. Then I deadhead down to Houston and grab a hazmat/tanker load up to Williston ND. I think Radioshark had the same load...
Any issues with that one??
After that Nick wants to send me back to Jamestown to Ft Worth, TX......But I'm lobbying for a better load!! Lolcerberus63 Thanks this. -
I don't know about the Chicago part... But Auburn IN isn't too bad. Typical Walmart set up but I have had good luck there. There are a couple truck stops just north of there on I69 to stay at...cerberus63 Thanks this.

Made it to the Chicago unload early, of course they took their sweet time and I had to wait an hour and a half to get backed in the door, took them another hour to pull 6 pallets which made me 35 minutes late to Walmarts DC in Auburn IN. Now these a..wipes have had me waiting for 5 and a half hours SO far!

That sucks....cerberus63
My load doesn't load till the morning.... I'm about 45 minutes away... I'll be early and hope the product is ready....cerberus63 Thanks this. -
Hey, I for one stayed aware of conditions. They were fine on a route that also ran perpendicular to the original route. Keep up w/ your "executive decisions" and watch the micromanaging begin. Just sayin'...

Dropping this trailer in Fargo yard for local driver to deliver for Saturday delivery. Picking up in Grand Forks for a Braums delivery in Tuttle, up to Tulsa for Bama to Denver, then home.miles to date 13206.
ncmickey and Loanerdude Thank this.
