Tell the new guy to summarize your breakdown pay next time you talk to him. And ask what check it will be on. He takes very good notes of your breakdown then forgets to submit it. It only happened three times to me. Rookie mistakes, I'm sure.

He knew the exact minute I got done at New Kingston, but not that I had to go to Freightliner after that.
I hung up on him this morning. Called back twice and hung up before Debbie answered, Donna was gonna come in late.
So I started drinking early, I never called in and they never called back.

The truck is finally fixed. Made it to Freightliner this afternoon, it still showed 3 active faults. All they were told to do was a recall, but they got approval to fix it and got er done.

And I thought they had you give a 2 week notice?
I'm surprised logs caught anything. They never catch my Line 5 with a loaded trailer.

I signed my new truck up for some TLC, it has the old mcp 100 Qualcomm and it won't put me on Line 3, I have to do it, when I shut the truck off it leaves me driving, and it doesn't record the miles driven per day.
And it has the Empty Call with the fuel level on it, Lincoln doesn't receive the empty call, I amuse myself thinking who's getting it.,..
I need steer tires, the bunk heater rebuilt, and it will not pull a hill, I was 63,740 gross and it pulled like I was at 100,000 .
    It's race time,.... (NASCAR)

I dont think Donna has a lot of pull for who gets let go,Lincoln has all the numbers, and they take the final desicion.

I remember one time reading the contract for Schneider Logistics and seeing how much they charged for detention. A decade ago it was in the "$200 dollar per hour after two hoursfor detention" range. Drivers would beg and plead for detention pay and finally three weeks later they would get $20 bucks or so.
