So, how many are on their way for Monday orientation? Let me know and I'll take ya out to dinner if I'm up there.
mxpx148, Ordy19 and cerberus63 Thank this. -
I'll be in orientation again then! HuHot Mongolian sounds good

I'm scheduled to deliver on Monday in Bismarck and haven't seen a load offer (yet) as was discussed by phone, so I MIGHT be in Fargo on Monday afternoon.SISYPHUS Thanks this. -
How much does it cost? There's a lot of times I'd like to avoid Austin and would be willing to pay $20 or so...
-
If you run the entire length it's 27 if you do just around Austin it's 15. You pay online
-
If you run up I35 US 81 I 80 over to grand island and up US 281 to US 52 to US 2 it's about 150 Miles shorter than the paid miles. I went that way and was only 1650 miles. The peoplenet routing seems to go thru fargo

I thought I'd share an interesting conversation I had with while in Fargo yesterday. I was in the process of moving into a 2015 (my old 14 finally had to many problems I guess for even the maintainance staff) and I asked about the Freightliner and how the evaluation was going. Apparently the driver in it loves the truck, it has the DT-15 automanual in it with 12 gears and he reports it climbs the hills very well and has great power, also likes the ride and of course the room.
Purchasing training trucks with autos lead me to ask about our plans going forward, and it appears that the percentage of next years Pete's with automanuals in them will be significantly increasing. Apparently the test that has been going on with the 30 trucks we have this year is returning very strong results and there will be a significant cost savings offered by switching over so in the future we'll likely see the change.
Our expansion is going well apparently so good miles are out there - and the management team wants to keep the same business model of hiring drivers who are mature enough to not be babysat and who can get the job done and take care of our customers. Good news for those of us who like not having to be told which route to take and when to stop for fuel…
CheersRickyDickyDo and SISYPHUS Thank this. -
Dpe
Speaking of miles, does Magnum pay practical route?
