I am not sure what to do, I am currently in CDL school. My father has developed medical issues and I'm needed in another state, but I need to get my house 3 states away ready for sale also. I was wondering how difficult it would be to find a day driving job right out of school or one with reasonable home time or if I need to not work for a month to get things set and then get job where my father lives. Maybe talk to company and tell them situation. Just trying to figure out what options I have.
About to finish CDL class and need to move

I would handle your business with dad and move to be with him. Get a real estate agent for the sale. Pack up and move b4 getting your job. Once you ht the road your time will be precious.
BayouBlue Thanks this. -
Thanks, I really wasn't sure if I should get job right out of class or if it would be more difficult to get job after a month or so getting things ready to sale and moving.

Hope your father pulls through okay. Where will you be relocating to?

I agree with HardRoc. Get a Real Estate Agent, and get to your father's side.
In response to your question about day driving.... it is possible to get a day job driving fresh out of school, but you may have trouble finding someone to give you that opportunity. Typically, employers want someone with some experience doing this. But don't let that crush your aspirations. It IS possible. You just have to find the RIGHT place.
First thing's first.... get to your Daddy. You can't reverse time, and regret is a brutal mistress.
Just my $.02BayouBlue and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
I will be relocating to Georgetown LA, closest cities are Alexandria LA and Winnfield LA
