It was a two day yesterday.
First was a 1425# pallet from SDV to World Trade Houston. Second WAS to be two cartons 28# from Southwest Airlines Cargo to CTS Door 40. But he called and asked if I wanted to go to Port Allen. LA. Went to K-Solv in Channelview and got one drum of PM Acetate.

I didn't realize Port Allen was as good as going to Baton Rouge. My phone mapping was down. Apparently the drops that make my phone screen look like a spider web pissed it off in other ways.

It always says Safe Mode in the lower left corner. I could find nothing to make it have a connection to ATT or anything else.
So no mapping either by Maps or by Google Maps because it was jacked up.
My GPS took me to Port Allen. But it will only search for a street address in Texas.

Got a phone number from Dispatch and the instructions I got from that made no sense.

Finally got a good number to call, and he told me to turn left on Lobdell Hwy. and I'd run into the gate. But 5 miles up that Hwy. I called him again. He said I should have turned right.

I stopped at Desi's Little Capitol at the first exit after the swamp bridge on the way home. Had a Shrimp PoBoy. I did a hard reset on the phone. Lost all my texts and call log and pictures and games. But did get a network connection.

Tried to download a few things to make the phone usable. They show up in Applications but not anywhere else. I believe the phone is done for. We are waiting for the rain to slack off. Gonna hit the phone store and a few other places.

Got home last night a little after 9:30

    chopper103in Thanks this.

We went to see about replacing my phone.
Then went to HEB. Where I made the horrible mistake of shutting off the engine.
If it's going to be off for an hour or more that isn't QUITE as much of a problem.
The diesel that fills the cylinder(s) gets a chance to leak down past the rings.
But 10-20 minutes it does NOT want to turn over.

A SUPER nice fellow jumped it. Initially I didn't think it was gonna start. But eventually it did.

Cripes. Now every time I turn around the phone is off. Tomorrow and probably Tuesday as well should be fun.

Now the phone won't charge. It's toast.
I will take my Dads flip phone and only do phone calls until my new phone arrives.

It was a busy week the last one... Event in Chicago happened Monday last week... Truck was clean and shiny... :yes2557:

Left the place in a hurry to go do a drop and hook in IN and then head to another shipper... and forgot my camera at event location in Chicago... :biggrin_25510: But nice gentleman found it and sent it via USPS to my company... :biggrin_25519: Will be there on Wednesday...
Driving somewhere in Chicago at 7 am...

There was not much traffic... :biggrin_25512: But when I left, at noon... :biggrin_2552: Unfortunately, no pictures... Now using my spare camera...

Did a drop and hook on Monday in IN, then loaded in the evening somewhere else in IN, then was in NC, PA, MD and now TX...
Went thru a traffic jam on I-10 last Monday near Houston...

Three right lanes closed for construction...

But didn't see any construction... :biggrin_25523:

Delivered at this place this morning...

Went thru Houston this afternoon again... but took that Sams belt to avoid most of the traffic...
And now parked at a Shell station near La Porte...

Picking up tomorrow and heading to OKC... gotta return two bad tires and get my camera back...
