I remember it being said that we're allowed 1 truck and trailer wash(exterior) per month on the blue beacon magnum account, but do we have to request a t'check for washouts, or do we get those on the account as well.

Thats in my old stomping grounds. Please be careful becausr that stretch between Laramie amd Cheyenne has a ton of major accidents. And tends to get icy and stay icy, especially coming down the mountain into Laramie.

That happened to me when I got my truck. Went a month without the prepass...
Was happy to get it when I did.
The new transponder should be great... Covers everything

 

5 mins into my first run in have to stop to regenerate DPF to prevent derate. Not too happy. Soot levels very high. Something the shop should have done before I took it?

 

it's really common. Don't let it sour you on the truck. AFAiK, they run PACCARS, which are notorious for regens. It's only 10 minutes...

 

It's been 27 so far. Peterbuilt said it could take up to an hour.

 

oK, an hour would truly suck. frankly I'd call dispatch and see if they'll offer compensation. Being down an hour due to Regen is something they might well hook you up for. Can't hurt to ask.

 

I called after hours dispatch to tell them I was going to be late on my next drop because Wal-Mart was keeping me and I'm wondering if that's correct. It says only call for emergencies. I tried calling C&H Wholesale directly but it's an automated message saying they're not open. Thanks.
