Anyway, making my way down to GA to grab the new truck. Trying to get a lift axel installed on the trailer at the same time but I can't get a quote from the guy. ( have to use a place in SC so as not to void the warranty). So far Mercer has been outstanding in helping with tags and insurance. Give them the VIN and the take care of everything. TBH I was stressed a bit about this. So far no worries.

 

A lift axle will not void the warranty. At least not the bolt on style

 

As long as I have it done by one of Fontaines shops it will not. Otherwise they claim it will. Heck even a brake job without their approval can void it. It's a pain but.....

 

Wow, just a brake job will void it? I guess they really don't want anyone else touching their product huh? Is it worth the hassle for the lighter trailer?

 

Well normally it won't. But they are picky. Heck, we are suppose to take it to them to change a tail light because they are covered. A ##### tail light.

 

Had oil changed today at speedco. They said cover plate for throw out bearing is missing. Um should I get one asap? Where is it...
