Read the 1st post where I called him out for being full of ####! I just followed up that post with the I told you it would be entertaining post. Based on my original post I obviously don't know who the #### he is or why he has to run his mouth about a company he knows absolutely nothing about.

I would go with a spin on filter. Reviews on the one Mercer had leaks a little. Someone here also told me same thing. Do you do oil samples? I use Polaris labs. I did one at speed co yesterday to compare the two. Ops has very good system. When t you buy filters u get the samples too. If you wait I'll post both my oil samples so you can see who does better work. But that's if u plan on doing extended drains.

Idk. It's really the thought that the oil will be cleaner for longer. Anything to keep the engine cleaner. They said its like 460??? For the system.

The filters themselves do the same thing, ops just uses a spin on filter. The one at mercer 7s simple to change. Take off top. The place a wall mart bag over your hand like a glove, grab top of filter insert and as youbpull it out, push the bag down over the filter, boom no mess at allbe toward the. The leak is caused but the bolt

thAT holds lid on. There is a bevels side and a flat side to the washer. The bevels needs to face the bolt head. If not the o ring won't seal right. Flat side down and no problems

Man there are a lot of owner operators that just can't do math.

I was walking back to my truck when a brown international pulling a fcc trailer backed in beside me. He gets out and starts talking about how he was with Mercer and makes so much more money at fcc. He even goes to show me this laminated card with that says in big red letters at the top "new improved pay structure"
Depending on the length of haul it ranged from 1.18 to 91 cpm.

I think I'll stay right here driver.

May have been a victim of new math. But overall, the van rates look bad to me, but I am sure if you know the lanes you can cull them out like with flats

I feel about that plate like I do about brake dust covers, We don't need them. I like to see my brakes when I'm under the truck. That little cover, If it's not there, you can reach in there and feel for broken springs. That can make the difference of putting a clutch in at your convenience or having it done on the road.
