I get that from him every time I pick up a night load, I always know in 5 minutes IM going to get "Verify temps on BOL" message. Every #### time.
Just like I know when I pick up a walmart produce load I'll get a "Set it to 35" even though the paperwork and temp tattle says 34. Never fails.
So it looks like I'ma bout to have to buy some steer tires. Startin to shred some tread and making me nervous. Where do you prefer getting them? Loves was doing 100 off a set with balancing and mounting, something like 799 total.

I buy all my tires at loves. Mostly cause I'm always at loves lol

Setting the reefer to 35 for the majority of produce loads is nothing new. The first company I was with had the same policy. The only time I have the reefer set at 34 is for Taylor Farms loads. But, from I have been told that is because JCT has had issues with Taylor Farms rejecting entire loads because it was 1-2 degrees (in the tail of the trailer) out of range of their standards.

If you know you're going to get that message, why not send the confirm temp on BOL instead of complaining about it.
Concerning temps on BOL vs load assignment, ALWAYS set it at the temp on the load assignment. If the temp sen seemsd way off, 28 for a frozen load, then ask.
You won't buy tires anywhere cheaper than the terminal. -
For a while, I automatically sent a free form message confirming the temps on the BOLs right after I sent the loaded call. Eventually it stopped.

That's what I always did myself Macho.

I've been running the grave yard shift on recaps. I love driving during this time. Less traffic to deal with. No issues finding parking when it's time to stop. And, I can pull off and take an hour nap right at sunrise (that way I'm not blinded by the sun as it rises) and it doesn't affect what time I get to the consignee. That's probably my favorite part.

When you pick up a recovery do you keep that truck or do you take it back to the yard and get a truck that's available? just curious
-
U keep it if u choose to but u still have to go back to the yard to do the paperwork on it. If u don't want it u just take it back to the yard and get what'd available
