I wouldn't know. Depending on the curves and decline of slope, I'm definitely not staying at -/+60. 77S from VA to Nc I'm going 65. I470 around wheeling I'm going 69. I10 from las cruces to somewhere in Arizona, I'm going 69. Everything just depends on the situation, weather, etc.

Prior reading on the topic but no experience has led me to think that gravity-induced speed from downhills is acceptable; seen such elsewhere on this forum.
-
not if they're going by % of time "overspeed" which it appears it is.
-
I bet if let's say a company driver did something to the truck to make it magically go 65 or more on cruise, if they could keep an above average mpg, no one would notice. The second that mpg falls below that drivers normal range is when everyone starts emailing and calling the powers that be.
I am not promoting the use of technology of any sort to alter settings on your truck in any way. We all know it's against policy and blah blah. -
It doesn't register as over speed unless the accelerator is depressed. You can go down a hill up to 70mph and it won't count as overspeed unless you are touching the throttlefreightwipper and 91B20H8 Thank this.

No over speed is registered unless your foot is pressing the pedal, gravity bringing your truck to 65 going down a hill will not record over speed unless you have your foot pressed down on the accelerator.freightwipper Thanks this.

If you're going downhill at 70 miles an hour and know you're about to go up another Hill most people will floor the fuel pedal in order to keep your momentum going.
-
If you do that, I'm pretty sure truck won't even register you hitting the accelerator until you slow to about 65.
-
Over 60 ON THE PEDAL. 70 or over coasting.
freightwipper Thanks this. -
So what did you do??? Been waiting for the update
