I had a delivery at a tiny specialty meats distributor in a residential area of Daly City once. I turned down the wrong road and had to back out 3 blocks uphill, against traffic to get out. That was a stressful day. I tried to stay far away from SF after that. I feel for you going in there daily.

If I remember right at exit 52 off of 580 I used to park in a Walmart parking lot over in Livermore

At one time you could park at the Livermore scales without hassle but I haven't done that in years.

For parking in LIvermore, get off I580 at Greenville road, go south to Patterson Pass Rd, turn right, lots of businesses along in there to park overnight. It is best to move on out by 0500 before the office workers start to show up though. Continue on down PP Rd and turn right on Vasco Rd and go down to Jack in the Box, turn right, can park on the street for a couple hours til your 10 is up. Also might find a closed business to park in off the street as well.

If you want to get on down closer to San Mateo, I have a hidey hole parking spot in Union City or Hayward whichever, i think it is off Whipple Ave, will have to look it up on my GPS tomorrow.

Once you get past Tracy, there aren't any truck stops. what little parking there is to be had, is taken up by local based drivers.

I found it! A little hidey hole street in the industrial area, near the airport! It's always empty when I get there, and I can sleep like a rock now....a very loud rock with a 'reefer...

I used to sleep at the top of Bayshore Blvd....but the city decided to fence all those areas off last month. Jerks. The view was amazing there. :-(

Look up 7101 edgewater drive Oakland California. It's on the west side of the stadiums across from the highways. You can park in that staging area on the right hand side before the road ends. Security and coos in the area never had a problem there. Nice and quite.
