Head on collision I-459 N Hoover/Birmingham

    Traffic is still slowly moving on I-459, Hoover, AL, Exit 13, this is around the 20/59 area. A Suv was reported to be on the wrong side of the road, and ran head on into a semi. The driver of the Suv was killed, the truck driver was able to get out of the truck and was transported to UAB Hospital with non life threatening injuries, after the truck caught fire. Incident occurred around 1 am cst and is still not cleared now at 7 am. Sounded like they were detouring traffic on the northbound side, the southbound had one lane open.

    Names have not been released yet.
