Took a load through my parents house at in South Jersey. Gotta be in Wilton, NY with an all day drop on Monday. Can't be there early anyway....$1000 fine.

 

$1,000 fine for being early? Wow. What do they want you to do park down the street out of view to stage yourself and pull into the gate right at the appointment time? P.S. Swedesboro, NJ was the town I lived in for the first 6 months of my life.

 

Particular DC managing their yard. Also think it may be tax related too. Once they sign for it and check it in they own it.

If its the one I think it is the restaurant in that independent ts isnt bad.

It's also a way to manage trailers on the yard. If they schedule 10 loads for a carrier each day, and everyone delivers on time, everyone has an MT to take out. If half.of Tuesday's loads deliver Monday then the customer has 15 trailers instead of 10. Do this a few times and then there are 40 MT trailers sitting at a customer who.is screaming at the carrier to get them the heck off their.property.

Mainly it's due to inventory management though. Give an MBA a little tequila and she'll find a dozen really screwy ways to save the company a couple cents a transaction or look better on.paper for end of quarter/year financials. Just ask MCI or Enron

 

Rest area mm307 I75 Florida. Got sucked into coming too Fl. I have not been to Fl in over a year. It paid very well, but it sucked driving 1000 mi caring 42k lbs.
