Are you concerned about coolant in the oil because of analysis, or if your oil level rising on the dip stick? -

WEAR RATES NORMAL FOR FIRST OIL CHANGE AND OR BREAK-IN OVERHAUL PERIOD.
Makes it look like they were using a scale that allowed for more metals and other things.
Best I can remember is Speedco used to put truck mileage and oil mileage on my reports. I always figured the computer had a program that allowed for higher mileage engines.larry2903 Thanks this. -
It's not enough to get real concerned about, run until you would normally change it then sample again. I would probably run several changes with samples and then decide, it's not enough dilution to cause damage. If I remember correctly those samples are measuring in the parts per million range, you're a long ways from causing damage.

I think they did mine to, but it's been a while since I used them. -
Got a good question, truck is starting to become slow to start after sitting in colder weather mid 40'S and below. Batteries are old, I want to change them anyway. Where is a good place to pick up interstate batteries, I'll put them in myself. And what do I do with the old ones? Yes I have an inverter running my fridge. Never had a problem before until this winter.

Pretty much any one that sells truck parts or services trucks has interstate brand batteries. Even autozone and advance carry then down here by me. So does tractor supply.Lyle Thanks this.
