I am wearing my secondary boots. They don't wear much on the bottom. But neither do they have a lot of grip. I was securing an 800# upright vessel. I planted my right heel on the fender well. And when my foot slipped down I went. Wacked my head on my toolbox. Got a knot and bled quite a bit. Elbow on the right and wrist on the left got dinged. And I just generally hurt in the neck and upper back. Got that delivered and they asked where are the fittings? Not my problem.

Then to Southwest Airlines for a carton with a 55" LED TV. Took it to SCI on Allen Pkwy. And had to carry it down a set of stairs. Did not help with how I feel.

Next was to be pick up unknown at Ceva and take it to west beltway. But he sent get a 3# carton at B. Hansen going to SDV. So did that. The Ceva was a 315# pallet going to Chiyoda International Corp. Two Chinese chicks came down without a cart. One was a sweetie! A FedEx driver left us a convertible dolly and we got the 15 cartons up to the 7th floor. I wanted to take Achida home!

Got here at 6:39. Had to finish logbook and write down ticket info. Had hotdogs and Fritos with Chile. I think I may not be able to move in the morning...

Oh man what a day. I missed one 20 odd dollar run. Tom called because now at least once a week Roland is absent. He mentioned a 10:30 pickup at Southwest Airlines so I started out to get close. it
was 6 cartons of monitors going to a place I know well.
While I was down south he gave me a 5# carton pickup down by Ellington Field. Took the 6 cartons up to NW Houston and the 5# to Ceva.
Ate lunch and he said pick up at Iso-Tex (Pearland ) and deliver to BTX (IAH). Had I but known about it when I was already down that way.
Got that delivered to BTX and empty at 4:45.

That was when he called and said meet Carl at Ceva and take the wrong freight he has back to Forum Energy and get the right freight and bring it to Ceva. Sheesh.

Got something the lady told the forklift driver to load.
The guy outside at Ceva took me to the supervisor based on what he saw when he pulled up the movement number. Thank the Lord it was correct because if not someone was going to die.

Stopped at Jack in the Box in Splendora to eat.

Will get home 9:15 or so.

Woke up this morning in more pain than the last two days. Yippee. I was deadly serious when I said if that freight had been wrong someone would have died....

I got a call from Roland asking about yesterday. Those people REALLY need to communicate with one another. I asked for a run to Louisiana or something. He said he'd work on it. Heck I'd take a stupid airport transfer at this point.

1: J&T Tool to Baker 6th Grade construction site. 50#
2: Eagle Controls to Argo Intl. 150#
3: Argo Intl. to Vulcan Materials 530#
4: Cap Barbell to Ceva. They had 6 pallets. I was told to get two. After a few phone calls I got two. 356#
Traffic was bad no matter which way I went. Took 1.5 hours to get to Ceva. Got home a touch after 7.
Salmon patties, noodles and cauliflower. Yum.

Oh. I turned down pulling a water blaster to Gonzalez TX . I didn't want to hasten the death of my truck and it didn't pick up until 3pm. Which would have made me very late.

I was in Huntsville TX for a while. Took a Ceva load up there. Now I've come to Swagelok on Tanner Rd. And the info I was given is useless. Hot shot 8n a nutshell.
