Maverick Sponsorship

Got a friend that has worked for Maverick out of Little Rock since I first knew him in 1990. FWIW

 

I stopped at NLR on my way back from Chicago three weeks ago. Sat down with a recruiter for 30 minutes and found that the earliest I could get to Newport, the school, would be March. It's filling up very fast.

 

I am not surprised. I have heard Maverick is ok for over twenty years.

 

I went through the school in Newport last May do you still need any info?

Why is that?

 

Actively supports and pushes for all trucks to be speed restricted to low 60's, along with eld's.

Note that neither is done for safety....strictly mavericks bottom line. make everybody else crawl down the highways so they can compete.

Maverick isn't one of the 9 carriers to push speed limit, and eld is already mandatory.

 

Update your info and read the truckers paper where the top guy at maverick stated his stance for supporting the issue. Then read where he also pushed for eld to become law.

 

been tryin to search for it and i can't. Can you link it? Nothing is showing up as Maverick supporting low 60s speed limited plus they don't even lmited their trucks to low 60s. Also i can't find "truckers paper" website just truckpaper.com which just sell trucks
