Missouri and some other states are not going along with the real I'd law scam. And I heard no one can drive or buy and sell without going along with the real I'd scam. And it starts in a few days. Does this mean trucks are going to be abandoned everywhere because drivers will go to jail for driving without a real id . Prime Inc. And Trans Am mostly have people with Missouri driver's license

DL's & CDL's will still be valid...they just won't be sufficient for accessing federally secured areas (airports, federal buildings, etc.)

Which is stupid because some places will accept a social insecurity card as an alternate form of id. When is the last time you saw a social insecurity card with a photo?

Blame the states politicians in the states that refused to conform to the real ID policy.
The real ID is a federal policy and and the states had a choice to "opt in" or "opt out" and they took it upon themselves to represent the people of those states and basically say, "The people of our states don't want it and are willing to be inconvenienced by not having it."

Actually, I blame the fools in DC who dreamed up the joke of an ID. It increases the cost of issuing the identification with no real added "security". NOT going along with it was one of the FEW things my state has done right!

27 states have been granted an extension anywhere from a 6/16 to 10/16. Five states (WA, NM, MO, IL MN) were not granted extensions. If you have a passport, TWIC card or an enhanced DL, then you will have no problem boarding a plane.

WA state was just granted a 2 year extension.

    I believe it is.

The purpose of the Real ID Act is to make a legal ID much harder to be falsified by a terrorist for example.
