That right there is why drivers are just steering wheel holders in today's trucking world.
They're never trained correctly and the trainee trains the trainee who trains the trainee.....

Flying J in Milton, PA.
Wondering what Schnieder considers overspeed on the company side. Got passed by a company driver tonight like I wasn't even moving coming down one of those long downgrades on 80 in PA. When he passed me I glanced at speedometer and I was doing 71 (in a 70). Of course I went right back around him when we leveled out. -

Company solo drivers over speed is over 60 MPH with the pedal. Using gravity down a hill with no pedal it will record excessive over speed at 70+. Team drivers are 65 with pedal and 70 without.gentleroger and FatDaddy Thank this.

Back on here after a nice 34. Before I got to the house, I spoke to a crst driver who said he's teaming with a new guy splitting .33cpm and be say on a 400mi load to the same place for 3 days. Says if he goes solo he can look forward to .21cpm!
Anyways, got loaded out of the house to va then over here to il. Got to my drop, which is also where I'm picking up my next load and which was supposed to be a live unload. So went on a short empty search up the road. Brought another empty back and was told they won't load me until 0900 tomorrow...ok I'll kill time. Then they decide to put me in a dock and load me up...ok works for me. This load I'm now getting to head me back east was supposed to be a live load for 1600 today but after telling me to expect a call at noonish, it's 0600 and they call and give me a dock. Everything working out now but I'm gonna sleep here for my 10, flip my sleep schedule, and drive at night so I can drop at or around midnight on Sunday and get home a lot earlier than expected!
Keep it up Schneider!mickimause Thanks this. -
