Proper or best way to ask truckers to buy there free shower.

Just ask bro. Most drivers are able to ascertain the pathetic dumb beggars at the TS from those who are genuinely in need. Ask politely. Who cares if they say no. I wish I could give you my shower credits I run a day cab I don't use them!

 

I just want to point out this topic is from 2014. I hope by now he got his showers, job and a home.

Let a guy use a shower credit off my card at a truck stop I'm at quite often.

Haven't been charged for coffee since.

 

We are in the same boat with our 5 yr old. Homeless living out of our car. Looking for a place to shower if anyone has any ideas or suggestions to get thru this speed bump life threw at us all the sudden.

 

Just ask the drivers in line or coming into the store. I certainly wouldn't say no to someone asking for a shower and I have plenty of shower credits since I'm home every other day.

 

That and anyone getting a shower can request a team shower and get the 2nd one on the same ticket but the staff might figure that out but who knows if they’d even care?

Find a day cab driver.....just look at the fuel island. He's full up on shower credits he'll never use.
