LOL. It always works like that when you don't expect it. It's funny how many loads people are refusing out here and funnier what loads people are jumping on. I just don't get it sometimes. Anyway I think I'm gonna jump over the hill and get a hotel. It's been 2 days since my last 34. I must be due.Razorwyr and Truckin_Texas91411 Thank this.

There any good Mercer FB groups?
-
I hear there are a few but I don't know where.?.?.? Anyone?
-
2 off topics: saw a mercer guy today pulling intermodal...I've seen the containers on steps or flats but never the whole unit with chassis
Secondly, spoke with yet another mercer guy at the truck wash an he insisted that once you become familiar with agents, that load positions don't matter anymore.
Now as much as I questioned him differently on what he meant I almost felt like he was giving me a hint without actually saying what he really wanted to say. According to him, he only speaks to his coordinator when he needs money put on his card for a load.
Sidenote: this has been the second guy to tell me he could care less about load positions when he has agents on speed dial. So it makes me wonder if this first empty, first offer policy even worth the paper it's on. Clearly every driver I've ran into could care less about it.
Anyone care to elaborate? -
I'm one that really don't pay attention to board position. I see a load I want then I commit and go from there. As far as dealing with agents. I'm guessing if you work/live in a certain area then it'll make a difference but if you always run for them but I don't have any saved on speed dial. I'll call the ones in the area I'm going and a few call me back but most of the time I've already found what I was looking for. Some guys have a different experience.jacquesi23 Thanks this.

Also unless he can prove it right there don't forget you got some guys who say stuff just to piss you off. I'm sure all loads run the board regardless with a few exceptions for dedicated runs and dedicated trucksjacquesi23 Thanks this.
