Don't ever make a decision based on money kid. Especially entering healthcare. I did that and ended up like nick cage seeing dead ppl driving past certain places and telling druggies to just kill themselves please. (After you pick them up for the sixth time and repeat yourself 50000000 times saying "what did you take")
Kicked myself out because I didn't belong there but saved some lives in the process. Had its highs but the lows are well just low.
Trucking was good to me otr.
Do the navy till youre at least 21 a lot of these stupid trucking companies won't hire you until you are 21-23 some even 25-26.
They don't have any nuts and are at the mercy of insurance companies and ran by fear of litigation.(just like healthcare)
But hey life ain't fair get used to it.
Hop in a truck live in it but once you've been everywhere it gets old quick.
What's your life like as an OTR trucker?

If you want to join the service then be an Officer. Go to college. Chicks like dress blues but chicks like dress blues with metal bars on the collar even better.scottied67 Thanks this.

Plus instead of being the guy who picks up cigarette butts, you'll be the guy who tells other guys to pick up cigarette butts.TankerP Thanks this.

Dont mind that random blimp in the quote LOL. I'm on mobile at the memt and I saw no way to delete it
-
Also, if I go to college first. I'll be able to drink! What's better than that. I'm sure I'll need it lol.
I wonder if they'll let the underage people drink if the country that there in (such as Japan) allows it. I have no idea what the drinking age is in Japan though, that was just an example. -
I joined the Marines at 18, we were allowed to drink 3.2 beer in the E club on base. 3.2 is watered down beer but what we would do is order it in pitchers and instead of pouring it into glasses, we just order a whole pitcher and drink out of that. The club had to buy hundreds of pitchers when the monkey see monkey do went into full press the next weekend.
Turned 19 and flew over to Okinawa Japan and we could drink anything on or off base except anything with Absinthe in it.
Turned 20 and was sent back to Norfolk VA we had a little bar near our barracks, we could drink beer up in there, either tap 3.2 or bottled/canned beer, no hard liquor. We would often go down to the Navy Eclub and pick up the Navy wives whose husbands were out on ship. Go off base get carded though.Lucidd Thanks this. -
Nice of you to look after your fellow military men's wives while they were deployed. Not, that's a d**k move.
-
Hmm i never noticed he said that lol. So military wives sleep with other military men while their husbands are away? What kind of stuff is that. I don't plan on getting married in the military or dating for that matter. I have trust issues and most of the time i'm always correct to have them. I'll just stick to hooking up with the civilians i meet at all the different ports lol. A lady expects to have everything paid for for her, free house and everything... yet she goes off and sleeps with someone else while her husband is serving the country. No way, i'll date someone when i get out.ajohnson Thanks this.
