i would like to say that RR lease is not the way to go, been there done that. i just left, i was there 3 years and had 3 trucks.. easy to get if you want one. there trucks have to stay in the RR system. you can take them to any RR company.

i am getting a quality truck this time around as to what i understand you can take the truck to many different companies. i am going give eagle a try, pays 75% of line haul, my truck payment will be $1100 a week for a 2013 prostar and that is with maintenance and insurance and other little charges all in, plus if your truck breaks down they fix it at no out of pocket cost and if it takes longer than 48 hours they will put you in another truck till yours is fixed . this is what i have been told.

i start next week and will let you know if this is true or not.

i started with swift then went to Schneider then went to heartland and the last company was RR...LETS SEE.. good luck....

Check out the eagle threads on here before you go, from what I've seen, not very good.

X2. I was all scheduled for Eagle orientation at the beginning of the month, but a couple weeks out they emailed me saying as of March they'd no longer be hiring into Eagle and everyone would be going into Celadon. When I started asking questions all I got was a runaround circle. I figured with Celadon's incredibly honest history with contractors (more than a little sarcastic) and their lack of a straight answer on what numbers I'd be running under, I'm probably better off passing on that one.

And Celadon is quality. It's all a big circle. I would just stay away from the Q. Although I have no personal experience with them and I intend on keeping it that way.

    RERM Thanks this.
