Well heck, with the removal stand that's a better deal then. I was ready to get one, but 2. Right after i made the arrangements, my motor blew, so after that 29 grand at the cat shop I put off the tarp for a bit, whereas is the install place in Georgia?

 

Just south of Atlanta in Fairborn GA. Yes a blown motor would put several things on hold.

 

How much weight will that rolling tarp add?

 

Well it's about 1500 lbs as I recall. So after I get rid of my tarps and stuff (have not made up my mind if I want to keep the enclosed headache rack or not) it will add 700-1100 lbs.

Just had a guy tell me he was quitting and going back to work for celadon. He said it was impossible to make any money here. Then he asked how I was doing and where I was headed.

Told him I was headed to Louisville to sign my 4th truck on as soon as I unloaded and reloaded in indy.

Heven just shook his head, said I don't know how, and walked away.

Is it really that hard folks?

 

Why would you need the removal stand if you got the run open option with the Fasttrack?

I thought with that option you could lock the system open and run oversize. Seems like a better deal then having to remove the tarp system. Less work and no reason to be near home or wherever you have the removal stand when booking an oversize load.

 

I think some people just need dispatchers to hold their hand.
