Never left home. 59 was flooded in Porter.
I texted Tom and asked if anyone was at the office.
He said he went by this morning and it was locked up.
I woke up with wet feet. And dripping in two places kept me from sleeping too much after 4:53 when I got an alert on my pnone about the weather.
I went up and checked the tarp. Couldn't see anything.
But I think it has gotten worn and hard rain just goes through it.

Tomorrow morning I really hope it isn't as bad as today was!

Was very VERY busy Mr. chopper... during the so called "hometime"... and still busy back on the road.... but not so much today...
Parked at my company's warehouse in PA... bobtail to Wegmans supermarket nearby and did my shopping... Will be quiet here tonight... Folks will arrive in the morning... unload me and who knows where I'll be going next...

No test. My Dad shot that down. Dollar General or Tractor Supply look like best options.

DG is finger printing every piece....very hard work for us "older folk"....roller rack out the trailer into the back door of the strip mall store. Tractor supply has portable dock ramps and not driver unload!

    Rocks Thanks this.

The dollar general about 5 miles from home has a listing. Even if it doesn't pay much I would only need fuel maybe every other week. And a 40wt oil change would last months instead of weeks. And I would get to see my Sister fairly often. And there ain't much I'd have to have out of DG. Tractor Supply on the other hand is chock full of good stuff such as Litium battery tools and goat wire (good for keeping dogs in the yard).

By the way. Got a so so check this morning. Took two out of the three runs on the board. Went and got 5ctn not far from Hobby Airport. Then went to St. George Warehouse for a quote "pallet 175#".
When after 45 minutes they brought it out it was a couch, loveseat and coffee table. tmp_7825-20160425_110122-1135032067.jpg
I called it a "Big Ugly Mess" on the ticket.
Got out to Sugar Land where it delivered. Cute little lady from Pakistan was there. She called her son which wasn't much bigger than her to help me unload.
From there I was heading up Hwy 6 but it was shut down north of I-10. Had to get out to 99 off 290 to drop the cartons. Then because he had texted earlier that I was the only pickup truck I ran all the way to Hwy 90 outside of Sheldon Rd. to get a tool going back to a tool rental place I go to often. But I got there at 3:45. And they leave at 2:15. So I had darn better get a dry run out of that. Now I have it to do in the morning.
However I am going to delay going in so that I might talk to Dollar General in Sheherd and Tractor Supply in Cleveland.
