Per St. George News On Line; Three semitrailers jack-knifed in the median and across both Interstates and had to be removed before traffic could resume. Several secondary accidents also occurred at the same time, involving slide-offs and vehicles trying to avoid hitting the semitrailers...
No serious injuries reported, just SB lanes closed and NB lanes slowed way down.

... and a winter storm warning in effect for Wyoming and Colorado right now. Crazy time if year, and in the Intermountain states you have to be ready for anything. Remember, it was about this time last year we had I-80 shut down in Wyoming twice with dozens of truckers not slowing down to safe speeds in icy conditions.

Good thing I got routed outside of Wyoming. I swear that state must have some kind of built in snow generator.

Do you have the option to run the southern route?

From Nebraska? What would be southern route? Isn't it pretty much just 80 to 15 or 76 to 70 to 15? Anything else would be ridiculously out of the way right?

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

    Definitely. 80 to 76 through to 70.

Right now it's just snow blow and rain on the 70. 6 is closed for Hazmat, lucky sobs are saving 45min passing through the tunnel lol.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
