    Knowing what I know now - it would have been an easier transition, but my best advice from this viewpoint is to research as best you can, as long as you can, and the transition is smooth(er).

    Yes, I'd do it again.

    Finally - and I shouldn't post this until it's delivered, but I think it's my best paying run, aside from the $375/5mile run the other week -

    $4.25/mile TTT on 460 loaded miles. Prepared for the permit call before ordering ( after a "call @Old Man " option), after calling shipper and discussing.

    Called LS and had them bump me for the 10'6" width. Drag the flags and signs out and make like I know what I'm doing!?

    Great thread Blair taken me a week or so to read it. I'm in here, I've done 21700 miles ytd could have been less but I like to sleep at home.

    There it is - the Sanford and sons load . . .

    Bucketed down rain while loading - enough to defeat the rain gear and had to change clothes. Used a fair assortment of securement and swear words.

    7 pieces trumps my 18 ,
    No tarp beats your tarp job hands down!

    And yes - it had quit raining by the time I was ready to go . . .
