I guess I can't gripe. I did take that two pallet cream cheese load from Casa Grande to St Louis. Then deadhead from there to olathe.

My favorite so far was deadhead from Vegas to Amarillo to grab a 10k load going to Houston. I was like ok thanks for the money.

I know. I emptied out Tuesday at noon, I sat until Wednesday morning waiting on dispatch, got a load 1000 miles going to California with a Thursday window pick up, rejected, got a longer load with the same window, accepted it. I felt like they had made up their mind that I was going to sit no matter what. That load picked up in Greeley with a window starting Thursday morning at 0200 and ending at 2359 tonight. I told my DM I thought had been put on a sh** list on the desk of the planner. I have no idea why. I've been running great for the year and a half I've been here. It's only recently that I've been getting screwed.

I honestly think freight is just that slow. I talked to my buddy at swift he is seeing that slow down too.
kanidana Thanks this. -
Last week I deadheaded from Ohio to West Virginia. That was a decent surprise. Also, usually when I get a slow delivering load, they back it up with something that has some decent deadhead on it. I was expecting to DH from Denver to Grand Island or something.
I left the shop Saturday Night, was dispatched Sunday morning with a two stopper going from Casa Grande to Albuquerque and ending in Commerce City, Co. That 900 plus one stop. It's now Thursday and that's it. It's the worst week I've ever had here at JCT. -
Well dang now sitting on the side of the road doing an inspection. He lit me up and I'm like what the I'm only doing 62 in a 65 . he also tells me I have to have my medical card on person someone did not get the memo lol

That sucks. What did he say he pulled you over for?

Inspection

Oh, I didn't know they could randomly pull you over for inspections unless they saw something wrong with your truck or you were doing something illegal. Now, if that's well known information I feel stupid for asking.

And I'm just shut up in a room, overdosing on caffeine, and bored out of my mind waiting on this load. I'm feeling caffeine fuzzy.Last edited: May 5, 2016

Submitted my app today. I was told everything looked good. Hopefully everything works out as I have planned... On a side note when I was running teams, we were dead headed 2170 from Atlanta, GA to Compton, CA.
Treputt Thanks this.
