a week and half ago while in the yard, i got my 6 month review, during my chat with Karla, the camera topic came up.
She said the reason the company wanted dash cams,,,, in one month alone, there were 15 hit and runs. IE: trucks backing in ours then leaving.
The only 3 people who have access to the video, Chris, Brad and Karla.
If any of you have been to the yard, you will see how busy they are and or can get. They don't have time to sit there and watch the video.
Only time they get a video sent to them ( It costs $60.00 for each video) is when the company that stores the video's sees a warning come up of a hard hot, hard breaking, going off the road. They then review the tape and then if they think it's warranted, they will send the video.

    Anonymousproxy and stevep1977 Thank this.

Are the Holland trucks single or double bunk? Do any of your newer trucks have LED headlights?

i think the cameras are gonna come back to bite these companies, i mean think about it, a 4wheeler gets in an accident with a truck, even if its the 4 wheelers fault, if i were a lawyer i would have them pull all the video and go back to when the driver was logged in the sleeper, now we all know when your parked at the customer and waiting to get a dock we log it sleeper to get our 10 hr break, well pull the video, hey why is that driver logged in sleeper an the truck is backing into a dock, falsification of logs. if anyone i knew got in an accident with a truck thats what id tell them to do, pull all the video, not many are actually logging it like they do it even on elogs, the lawyers are gonna have a field day when they get wind of all this.

What's the big deal about the headlight inquiry? Why be a douchebag with your response to my questions?

    Name calling is not necessary.

Sorry I didn't answer one of your questions to your standards.
