This was when I was in TCD. But if you're torn between glass and flatbed go GLASS!!!! Way more miles per week. I get as much empty miles a week then you'll get loaded/empty in TCD. I switched over to the Glass division and my first week out I got 3288 miles (1948 total empty). Some drivers in TCD only get that a week. I'll be honest it's tough work and my body is still getting use to this type of work. But I'm sticking it out. It's slowly getting easier. I'm learning shortcuts here and there. And the pay is OUTSTANDING!!!! My second week out I bought home (after taxes 1,300$+)

That's what Im talking about.... I wondered if it was more miles than the recruiter and the website listed....
runhard Thanks this. -
You'll love this company, especially the Glass division. Things will be slowing up in Jan. You'll get a few flatbed loads, but you'll still get glass pay for them. Remember while you're in orientation....pay attention, do not fall asleep, and don't walk on the grass! The orientation reminds me of boot camp. As long as you pay attention to the rules you're ok

Lmao @ bootcamp.... I'll be right at home with that notion..runhard Thanks this. -
Is the Glass division still rolling good?? Thanks
-
I left Maverick

I left Maverick but I do see them rolling still

Pulling bulk now? How is it. Always curious on those things and wonder if they fluctuate like glass does.
Glass still good, been busy and getting the miles I want. Been going to Canada a lot recently....now ideal but more moneyMANXimus Thanks this. -
I noticed in several posts how you mention being sent to Canada...
I've been wanting to ask -- when you do have to hit Canada for Glass, do you find yourself in Western Canada more times than not (or Eastern Canada)? If Eastern, are you running mostly Toronto and Ontario (or even Montreal)? Do you normally enter Canada around Detroit and Buffalo?
Just curious (always wondered where the Canada lines were)... Thx!
