Drivers are quirky, we all do something a little different or take a different route. Technically it should be your entire route by now but you'll be fine on your own. At least you are getting lots of backing practice, one of the most important things.
Doesn't seem like a very friendly guy, his way or the highway. 2 more weeks man, you won't have to worry about him anymore.ncmickey Thanks this. -
Yes.
As soon as you get out of Rochelle, drive up to Racine and park alongside building at D&D (or Petro in Sturtevant) and go off duty. Get loaded, park again on street (or Petro) and wait out the rest of your ten, then drive the remainder. -
Everybody has different preferences on what they like to drive. I hate going thru KC so instead of going thru KC I get off at exit 10 on 29 in Iowa and come snake my way into Topeka go down that way from ND heading to DFW. I don't mind driving back roads. Some would prefer more interstates.Holo989 said: ↑I see your point, I miss used the word turn what I meant was an exit off the highway that was an odd one. It had one lane going west with traffic merging onto the exit a little bit further up while I was trying to take the east exit which shares the same lane as merging traffic. So he pointed to the west exit and told me to go east which just confused me. I haven't missed any turns so far but I have missed an exit or two. But I do understand his frustration with my mistakes as I would probably lose my temper with someone if I told them about the issue already. I just wish he wouldn't side seat drive so much and wait a split second for me to react before saying something to me because he always ends up telling me to do something right before I was going to do it on my own. I wasn't trying to make him look bad I just needed somewhere to vent some frustration with people who understood what I'm dealing with. He's a great teacher and gave me what I assume is his version of a complement today on my shifting and backing so it's improving.Click to expand...

I drive Dallas to Fargo every week and that's the route I take. KC is an extra 65 miles. Some guys prefer 135/81 to York and then taking 80 east to Omaha. That's 4 lanes all the way and only 30 minutes longer.radioshark said: ↑Everybody has different preferences on what they like to drive. Well there went any hope of meeting my Tuesday morning delivery. Picked up in Long Prairie, MN headed to Baltimore. Headed back from Sauk Center to get reworked to comply with bridge.
