I would have run the toll road no matter what specially in Philadelphia I'm not driving through the neighborhood

 

What toll road are U speaking of in Philly?

 

I 476 between Allentown and I 276

 

Only road to avoiding tolls on 476 is Rt 309, pretty much runs parrelel
Coming this way again give me a shout and I should be able to help U out with directions

 

Finally got through there the next morning... Was able to make delivery. Now going for the dreaded DOT physical...

 

I have been off of TR for some time. I drove for Holland for a very short time due to a knee injury that I just had surgery on. Be ready to drive in a few weeks. I always heard great thing about Holland and Great Plains. Are they now completely seperate? Sounds like some accounts were lost. Whats going on?

 

The two companies split... Some kind of dispute between them. Holland pretty much retained all of its freight, I guess GPT started over from scratch.

 

Oh wow! I believe the son ran GP. I may be giving them a call.

 

He runs both GPT and the flatbed company CMT, though Bob still owns Great Plains.

 

Toll roads are getting too expensive to run. I'm amazed they ran them at all. Soon the easy pass will be shut off. As it costs .90 cents to a $1.10 per scale weather you get a green or red light. That gets expensive with a 120 plus trucks. Not to worry though. It a financial adjustment for them. All companies go through it. The xm will be on. That should be in the finance deal on the trucks. I can say miles have fell here recantly for me. Here what can say. If it doesn't work out with gp. I won't bother applying to the other 2. I'll head home and look for something else. Not getting involved in anymore drama. Oh and these are are only my thoughts. They do not refelect gp or any other company they are doing business with.
