At the one year mark, does it come automatically?

Or does it have to be requested?

Don't know about swift, but u request vacation, u take a vacation and that weeks pay is your vacation pay. Depending on the company, if you don't take a vacation, u get paid for it at the end of the year, OR its a take it or leave it type deal

I thought I read that swift automatically pays a one week average at the one year mark.

It is paid as a separate check the week after your anniversary.

If I am not mistaken, it is $400 after 1 year.
    2-4 years is $1,000 and after 5 years $1,800.
That may be the maximum, but I'm not sure.

You do not need to request vacation pay.
If you want a vacation, like a very long home time, that would be requested.

    MM3Deg and Ryan423 Thank this.

I guess it really should be called an annual bonus.

    Ryan423 Thanks this.

That's really what it is. And for those reading, it is automatic.
