1600 miles this week. Left out Tuesday afternoon, was broke down a day. No trips longer than 300 miles. This can't keep up. At least I got planned out over the weekend until Wed. Waiting for my ten to be up. In Haw River NC headed for Garysburg, then home.

What might be a good company and you guys know but I just don't think you guys can make any good money over there. Heck you might as well go LTL and stay home all the time. I noticed in North Carolina lot of good trucking companies that you could hook up with.

I'm saying that you can't make that much money as I can see it oh well maybe I'm missing something.

I joined cargo transporters recently. At first I was skeptical of working here due to the company utilizing driver facing cameras. But it seems like everything else about this company fits my current needs. Home on the weekends, APUs, fridges, and a terminal in Charlotte 7 miles from the house... And at .44 a mile to boot! So I figured I'd give them a shot.

Did my drug test, physical and road test last Thursday (due to the holiday weekend) and finished the last bit of orientation yesterday and today. Everything has gone swimmingly so far. Got assigned an immaculate 2016 truck with 180k on the odometer & a load going to Jamesburg, NJ for a Friday drop & hook. Gonna spend tonight at the house & head out first thing in the morning tomorrow. Be safe!

That was my first load with Cargo too. Williams Sonoma to Jamesburg. They actually have EPUs, not APUs here which run off the batteries. Not as good as APUs but ok.

Not a bad load. After hauling a reefer, I definitely missed those drop & hooks. Yeah I agree about the APU thing. I'd prefer a tripac unit myself, but I suppose this will do. Other drivers don't seem to mind the EPU system.

Who is your dispatcher gntorres? Mine is Justin out of the Charlotte yard.

About the first six months here I was happy. Then a slow steady decline. The ONLY people I tell to come here are newbies. Great starter company. I'm sitting here at Sterilite in OH with four other Cargo drivers. I've been backed in the door for 5 hours. The other guys 7 to 9 hours. Had almost 5 on my clock when I got here. Gone!

Josh out of Claremont. I think he handles us Rocky Mounters and further east.

Not a good week. 1182 miles. But it was a holiday week. Already loaded to leave Sunday with an S&D Coffee load up to PA for Monday AM.

That's where my backhaul from New Jersey was headed to. Dropped that a few hours ago in Concord, then deadheaded home. I got about the same miles this week. For 2 1/2 days of work, I'd say that's not too bad. Gonna try and hit it hard come Monday!

I was also pulled in for a level 2 at the scale in Perryville, MD yesterday. Passed with flying colors.
